Jordan Page, a renowned Mormon influencer and the founder of the Page Company, and her husband Bubba Page announced their divorce on Instagram on March 24, 2024, then on Facebook the next day.

On both the @jordanpage and @bubbapage Instagram pages, the couple said, “A little life update—some of you may have noticed that things seem a little different for our family, as Bubba and I will be ending our marriage. While divorce is never ideal, we handle it differently in the Page household.

According to the parents of eight, the general public will not know why the couple, who married in 2007, is ending their marriage.

“While we appreciate all your love and concern, we will not actually be discussing this issue, and will not be talking about our relationship, marriage, or divorce,” the statement adds. “So thanks in advance for not asking.”

According to court documents obtained by Distractify, Jordan filed for divorce from Brandt (his legal name, not Bubba) on March 12, 2024, two weeks before the split was announced.

Jordan and Bubba were married in Utah, therefore, their divorce records will be kept private if they choose to. It has been the law in Utah since April 2012.

Jordan, aka the “Fun Cheap or Free Queen,” isn’t a marital expert per se; her fans primarily come for her budgetary advice but her identity revolves around her role as a mother of a large family. It’s even included in their press release: “You will still be seeing us in each other’s content from time to time, as we are still—and will always be—a close-knit family of 10, and our topmost important goal is to be the best co-parents possible for our kids.”

Some Jordan fans believe they deserve to know what actually happened. The top remark on Jordan’s Instagram account is, “I am so stunned. I realize that you wish to keep this subject private. But your lives have been so public, including your marriage, that you once planned to promote a marriage boot camp.”

People in Bubba’s comments aren’t asking for more information, but the majority agree with @deedollslittles: “I sense that this isn’t something you wanted. So, if that’s the case, I’ll send healing to your heart. I’m thinking about your kids, too, but know that you’re a present dad who will attend to their needs as usual.”

While the majority of comments are positive, there is more venom on the Reddit page concerning their demise. But Redditor AlfurFan brings up maybe the most significant takeaway from this very public divorce announcement: “I respect their words concerning the kids. No one should discuss adult matters with youngsters, especially a group of strangers on the internet.”
