Amber Heard has a child! The actress, 35, has given birth to a baby girl, just months after her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, lost a libel case involving her.
Heard is “beyond in love” with her baby, Oonagh Paige, whom she named after her late mother, Paige, according to a source who spoke exclusively to Page Six.
Friends stated that Oonagh was delivered on April 8 with the assistance of a surrogate after Heard was informed she would never be able to carry her own child.
“Oonagh is extraordinarily stunning, and Amber is besotted,” a source close to the star told us. She had always wanted to be a mother, and now her greatest wish had come true. She is always grateful to the beautiful woman who assisted in bringing Oonagh into her life.
“What’s most essential for Amber is that she’s transparent about Oonagh’s birth,” the person added. “There are so many women who feel they can’t talk about their fertility and are concerned and embarrassed; Amber wants them to feel encouraged and learn there are various methods to have a baby even if you have reproductive challenges.”

Heard herself confirmed the news via Instagram, where she posted a photo of herself holding the baby.
“I’m overjoyed to be able to share this news with you. I determined four years ago that I wanted to have a child. “I wanted to do it on my own terms,” she explained in her letter. “I now recognize how radical it is for us as women to consider one of the most essential aspects of our destinies in this manner.” “I hope we get to the stage when it’s common to not desire a ring in order to have a crib.”
“A part of me wants to maintain that my private life is none of anyone’s business,” she added. I also understand that the nature of my position requires me to take charge of this. On April 8, 2021, my daughter was born. Oonagh Paige Heard is her name. She’s the start of the rest of my life.”
Current Relationship
Heard is presently dating cinematographer Bianca Butti, whom she has been dating since January 2020, although she took the decision to have a baby on her own some time ago and is said to be “proud” to be Oonagh’s sole legal mom.
Next up for the activist is “Aquaman 2,” in which she will play Atlantean princess Mera alongside Jason Momoa in the title role.

Impact of Mrs. Paige Demise On Amber
Friends believe Heard’s baby’s birth is especially poignant because she lost her own mother in May 2020 at the age of 63, describing herself as “heartbroken and distraught beyond description.”
In her Instagram post, she called Paige “the most beautiful lady I had ever known,” adding, “It’s hard to imagine and even harder to say, but I feel really lucky to have been her daughter and been given the privilege of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years.”
Heard then thanked her family and friends for their support throughout the “unbelievably traumatic moment” for her and her sister, Whitney.
The actress’s mother died just weeks before she was set to face Depp, 58, in a three-week trial in London’s High Court in July 2020.

Heard – Depp Litigation
She testified against the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, who ultimately lost his libel case against The Sun newspaper over an article calling him a “wife abuser.” Depp was found to have abused Heard on a dozen occasions and put her in “fear for her life” three times, according to the judge.
“After obtaining a restraining order in 2016 and settling my divorce, I just wanted to move on with my life,” Heard stated after the case. I did not file this action, and despite its importance, I would rather not be here in court.
“It has been excruciatingly hard to relive the end of my relationship, to have my motives and honesty called into question, and to have the most horrific and intimate parts of my life with Johnny exposed in court and broadcast to the entire world.” “I stand by my testimony, and I now trust British justice.”
In April, Depp requested the Court of Appeal for permission to appeal the High Court’s decision in order to obtain a retrial.
Depp’s attorneys attempted to argue that Heard failed to donate her $7 million divorce settlement to the American Civil Liberties Union and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, as she had pledged, but the court denied Depp’s request to appeal.
“The judge believed she was this amazing human being standing up for mankind,” a source close to Depp told Page Six, “but she was lying out of her ass [about the donations].”
Elaine Bredehoft, Heard’s attorney, agreed that her client had failed to meet the charity pledge she made, but insisted: “Amber has already been responsible for seven figures in philanthropic gifts and plans to continue to contribute and eventually fulfil her pledge.”
“However, Amber’s progress has been hampered since Mr. Depp launched a lawsuit against her, forcing her to spend millions of dollars fighting Mr. Depp’s baseless charges against her.”
The two are scheduled to appear in a US court next April, as Depp is suing Heard for a 2018 Washington Post opinion piece in which she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse but did not name Depp.
“For now, all that matters to Amber is Oonagh and raising a healthy and robust daughter,” a person close to Heard said.
