The Interest of Love Episode 5 Recap

The fifth episode of “Interest of Love” starts with Jong-first Hyeon’s day at KCU Bank. He meets Su-Yeong right away and falls in love with her. Jong-Hyeon is such a pleasant character to watch, and it’s nice to see how calm, quiet, and positive he is in every part of his life.

After a short summary of his time with Su-Yeong, we go back to the night when Sang-Su hugged her. After he pulls away, he asks her if she would have gone out with him if he had gone to the restaurant that day. But before he can hear back, he is asked to go outside for a smoke, and the conversation ends soon after.

Both Sang-Su and Su-Yeong are restless in bed that night, but for different reasons. He wonders if she is really going out with Jong-Hyeon when she remembers the hug. It’s time to go home after a restless night, and on the bus, he apologizes for making her feel bad. She brushes off his worries and asks him to talk to her after work.

But at work, a nervous Mi-Gyeong asks Sang-Su to go to the wedding of a college friend they both knew. At first, Sang-Su isn’t sure, but as soon as Su-Yeong walks in, he quickly agrees. When he leaves, Mi-Gyeong tells Su-Yeong with excitement that she finally told him how she feels, and that even though it’s not official yet, things might be getting better for her.

Poor Su-Yeong just looks upset about what’s going on. Shi-Kyung calls her for a business dinner, so she can’t meet up with Sang-Su. This makes her day even worse. Unfortunately for her, after Shi-Kyung puts her in an awkward situation, she is also bothered at the dinner.

The next day at work, Su-Yeong and Sang-Su are tense, and the day doesn’t get much better when Shi-Kyung asks Su-Yeong to go to another business meeting with him. This time, though, Su-Yeong doesn’t want to have any guests and makes it clear that it’s not her job to do business after hours if there’s no business to do.

The whole office is shocked and quiet. Shi-Kyung is also embarrassed, so he tells her to clean up the filing room as punishment. Mi-Gyeong offers to help her because he knows it’s a lot of work. But the boss tells everyone to mind their own business and makes Su-Yeong feel bad for not doing what he wants.

Su-Yeong is getting ready to work all weekend, so Sang-Su makes her dinner since she won’t let him help.

Over the weekend, Sang-Su and Mi-Gyeong go to a wedding, and Sang-Su imagines Su-Yeong as a bride. He has nothing but sunshine and rainbows while Su-Yeong continues to work hard. During the wedding, Mi-friend Gyeong drops a few truth bombs on her, which makes her feel a little sad. Later, Sang-Su takes her out to drink away her sadness, and Su-Yeong gets a text from her mother saying that they are closing the shop, so she decides to go see them.

On Monday, while her coworkers talk about her behind her back, Su-Yeong is still filing papers by herself. Sang-Su meets her and tries to help her, but when he sees that she hurt herself, he gets angry. He says that she could have found a different way to do things instead of going the hard way. But Su-Yeong doesn’t care and tells him that she didn’t have a choice and that it’s been this way since day one.

Shi-Kyung keeps picking on her and making fun of her work, which makes her dislike the situation even more. The last thing that hurts her is that her coworkers also talk badly about her. When she only hears a small part of Sang-comment, su’s she walks away because she doesn’t understand what he meant to say.

A used-up Su-Yeong goes to see her mother talk about how sad she was when she heard about Su-death. She tells her mother that she saw her father with a woman on the night she got the terrible news. She thinks that Su-Hyeok must have seen the same thing and moved to that neighborhood because of it.

When her mother hears all of this, she tells her again that his father is a good man and that she shouldn’t hate anyone. When Su-Yeong is upset, she tells her mother to keep the restaurant open. Just when things seem to be getting better, Su-Yeong is shocked to see that her mother is walking with a limp. She gets angry again and asks her mother why she has to live this way. She then storms off, leaving her mother crying in the street.

As she walks back to her house in the pouring rain, Su-yeong realizes why Sang-su hesitated that day: she knows exactly how he felt at that time. She is stuck in her ways, just like he was. Jong-Hyeon finds her soaked and lost in her thoughts. He tries to cheer her up.

In the rain, they run together, and she eventually asks him why he is so nice to her. If she really doesn’t know, he calls her a fool. As she remembers everything she’s done with Jong-Hyeon, she realizes how much he means to her. He, too, lets it slip that he wants to be her boyfriend, and she agrees to be his girlfriend in the heat of the moment. Jong-Hyeon is just ecstatically happy about the news.

The Interest of Love Episode 5 Review

Who would have thought when the drama started that it would go this far?

Now that the class differences are clear and the skeletons are coming out of the closet, the story is getting harder and harder to watch because it’s so real. At one point, you just feel so bad for Su-Yeong and Jong-Hyeon that your heart breaks. The first person gets the short end of the stick because she has to deal with harassment not only because of her money and education but also because she is a woman.

Also, it’s interesting to see how Su-relationship Yeong’s with Sang-Su keeps getting messier and messier over time. They have a lot in common, but they are also very different. Because of this, they always seem to misunderstand each other.

Also, Su-past Yeong is just so sad. I mean, really. Even though Sang-life Su is pretty bad, he has a good relationship with his mother. When you think about it, the series shows that everyone’s life has both good and bad parts, no matter how bad or good it looks from the outside. Everyone has something they’re having trouble with.

If you had told me two episodes ago that I’d look forward to watching this show, I wouldn’t have believed you. But with the way it’s going, The Interest of Love is quickly becoming a very interesting and strange show. I’m very excited to see where it goes from here.
