Dr. Romantic Season 3 Plot
Before getting into the plot of the third season, it’s important to know what happened in the first two seasons and how the stories of some characters ended at the end of the second season. Boo Yong-joo (Han Seok Kyu) is the only surgeon in South Korea to be certified in three different types of surgery: general surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiac surgery.
He is the best at what he does, and he keeps working at the best hospital in Seoul until a terrible thing happens and one of his juniors dies. He goes away in the end and starts working at a small hospital in Gangwon Province called Doldam under the name Kim Sa Bu.
In the first season, he helped Kang Dong Joo (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Yoon Seo Jeong (Seo Hyun Jin) become better surgeons by showing them how to fight against power and money for the sake of their patients. Over the next three years, he continued to be an inspiration to other doctors.
Later, he goes to Geosan University Hospital and hires Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae, two troubled surgeons who were fired for doing the right thing. Even though Seo Woo Jin left the hospital to keep Teacher Kim safe and Cha Eun-jae got her confidence back because of Teacher Kim, both stories ended happily (Kim Sa Bu). So, this makes you wonder what these kinds of doctors will do next.
The relationship between Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae is one of the best we’ve seen in Korean dramas, and the next season will probably show us more of this cute couple being clingy and doing well in their careers. Teacher Kim has made sure that the hospital runs smoothly, but in the next story, we may meet a new bad guy. Most likely, the writers would expand on what Teacher Kim said at the end of the second season, when she said that Doldam could be turned into a trauma centre.
