Alchemy of Souls Season 2 Episode 8 Rreview
After the most satisfying conclusion of episode 7, the preview for episode 8 reveals that Jang Uk is ordered by the crowned prince to go to the Northern fortress and that he accepts this fight to protect what he must.
The tvN clip reveals that Jang Uk and Naksu are closer than ever, with Naksu claiming that she knew Uk would be her husband at first sight.
Their romance is short-lived, however, as Jin Mu is planning something significant and asks Buyeon (Naksu) to test her divine powers.
Seo Yul realizes that Naksu will gradually leave Buyeon’s body, and viewers hope that Jang Uk will recognize Naksu before this occurs.
Whether or not Ho-gyeong will agree to all of this is an open question. The icy nature of their relationship has been demonstrated throughout the season.
Before they part ways, Jang-uk describes how he previously entered Jinyowon through a doorway on the back of that soul-shifter fighter. As they part, he promises to sneak into her house at night to see her. Nonetheless, as they say their goodbyes, more of Mu-memories deok’s resurface.
Those in Songrim discuss the relationship between Bu-yeon and Jang-uk. When Uk arrives, he is pleased to learn that Yul will speak his part and assist in turning the tide with Lady Jin. However, Park-jin urged him to stop, pointing out that Uk had originally said to give up, much to the frustration of the former.
Yul treats Bu-yeon with indifference after determining that she is Naksu and Mu-deok. Given his intended actions had they left the palace, he warns her against smiling. He informs her that his heart aches for her (Mu-deok). This brings back memories of her time with Yul as Mu-deok, and Bu-yeon ponders its significance.
Bu-yeon desires to be with Jang-uk, but she is terrified of what these true memories may imply. Yun-ok happens to be listening in as Yul assures her that he will assist her if necessary from the shadows. In order to prove that she is Naksu, she breaks into the pharmacy and steals vials that can reveal the soul-mark. shifter’s
Yul departs to pay his respects to So-i before meeting with Ho-gyeong. He informs Ho-gyeong that Naksu’s soul will soon vanish, at which point Bu-yeon will assume control of the body. He tells Ho-gyeong to ask Master Lee herself because they’ve both received contradictory information, but if she truly wants Bu-yeon to return, she should permit her to marry Jang-uk.
The Crown Prince instructs Jang-uk to go to the Fortress if he does not intend to fight him over the Gold Plaque. Thus, he can conceal himself behind Jin-mu. This is all part of their plan, and as a result of their loose alliance, things are beginning to fall into place. As Uk decides to fight for what he believes in, Park-jin also pledges to stand by his side.
Yun-ok splatters Bu-yeon with the special liquid in the woods, causing her eyes to glow blue. She departs alone and observes her reflection in the water as she travels. As a result, she ends up having visions of Mu-deok on the fateful night before she drowned in the lake. Regarding Yul, he chastises Yun-ok and accuses her of stealing his letter.
Bu-yeon eventually arrives at the infamous tree, where additional memories from the past resurface. She eventually sees a younger version of Bu-yeon, the true owner of the body, and her memories flood back in succession. She notes that Naksu will soon have to leave this body.
Bu-yeon admits to Jang-uk upon her return to the palace that she saw exactly who she is and what happened to her. She has regained sufficient memory to reconstruct Mu-history. deok’s
Consequently, Jang-uk appears at the moment of death and saves Bu-yeon from the wraiths. This has occurred frequently this season, hasn’t it? Jang-uk intervenes at the eleventh hour and saves the day.
The obligatory breakup occurs just prior to the final episode, and the various subplots continue to develop. Despite a very hot and passionate kiss at the beginning of this chapter, which is a highlight, there aren’t many noteworthy elements this time around.
Given the sudden introduction of a spell to banish Bu-yeon at the last second, it does appear that Jang-uk and Mu-deok will have a happy ending after all. Whether or not Jang-uk will actually do that remains unknown. Next week’s double feature is shaping up to be a real treat.
Before the Conclusion, Fan Theories
The Alchemy Of Souls season is almost over, and fans are eager for the remaining episodes to reveal Naksu’s power after Jin Mu challenges him openly.

The fact that Uk can see through the soul of the person he kills has disturbed me from the beginning. Will it hav any significance in the upcoming eps? It terrifies me dat Yeong is the only soulshifter around him.#leejaewook #Goyounjung #AlchemyOfSouls2Ep7 #AlchemyOfSouls2Ep8 pic.twitter.com/rJKVSihXyQ

Alchemy of Souls Season 2 Episode 8 Ending
The eighth episode of season two of Alchemy of Souls concludes with Ho-kyung telling Jin Mu that Jinyowon has a plaque that gives them the right to refuse the royal family’s order. Jin Mu, however, informs her that the plaque will soon be confiscated because she has put Jinyowon in danger for personal reasons. Immediately thereafter, the crown prince arrives and reveals that he is a witness to this statement, as the expansion of the firebird’s barrier did place them all in danger.
Cho-message yeon’s to bring the plaque to Cheonbugwan has been sent to Jinyowon; however, Naksu now assumes responsibility for its delivery. She quickly brings the plaque to Cheonbugwan and investigates the situation there.
When Ho-kyung sees Jin Mu push Ho-kyung to the brink, she stands up and reminds him that Jinyowon still has a priestess who is capable of supporting them, but Jin Mu does not take her seriously and instead challenges her to prove herself. This is accepted by Naksu, who is then transported to the prison for ghosts in Cheonbugwan.
Jin Mu informs her that she must retrieve the plaque from this location in order to demonstrate her divine abilities. Ho-kyung is concerned for her, but Naksu tells her to have faith in her daughter’s divine powers, prompting Ho-kyung to realise that she is actually Naksu.
Then, Naksu enters the magical prison and finds herself on a beach with a forest in the distance. Concerned by the size of the location, she quickly begins her search for the plaque. However, she quickly encounters a plaque and attempts to flee while subconsciously calling out for Jang Uk through the blue jade.
Jang Uk quickly appears and saves her from the wraith, but he soon observes that her eyes have changed, and he sees the blue flower that is etched in his memory shining in her eyes.
