Filming for the 14th season of BBC’s ‘Waterloo Road’ will begin in Manchester, England, in September.
Waterloo Road is set to return for its 14th season. Given the historical release trend, we should expect the next season to arrive in early summer, as season 12 did last year in May 2023.

Who will appear in Waterloo Road Season 14?
As previously stated, Jason Manford has joined the cast as the new headteacher, Steve Savage.
Jason stated of his new role: “What an incredible pleasure it is to join the cast and crew of Waterloo Road, right here in my hometown of Manchester.
“My kids and I binge-watched the show on iPlayer during lockdown. It’s a fantastic, classic show, and I’m honored to be a part of its history. Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher, and now that I am a headteacher, I realize I would have been dreadful!”
It’s unclear what Steve’s arrival will signify for current headteacher Kim Campbell.

Where will Season 14 be filmed?
The new season’s shoot will take place in Manchester, a city and metropolitan district in Greater Manchester County. The first seven seasons of the show were also filmed in Greater Manchester, as were the revival seasons 11–13.
The majority of the revival seasons’ school sequences were shot at Swinton’s defunct St. Ambrose Barlow Roman Catholic High School. Manchester has already hosted filming for various projects, including ‘World on Fire,’ ‘Shameless,’ ‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ ‘Sherlock Holmes,’ ‘Coronation Street,’ ‘Life on Mars,’ and ‘Scott & Bailey.’
