In January 2023, Netflix will release Jung E, a thrilling new dystopian sci-fi thriller from the creator of Peninsula and Train to Busan. The plot, trailer, cast, and release date of Jung E on Netflix are all available on our site.

Who Will Appear in Jung_e?

Actress Kang Soo Yoon, a pioneer in her field, plays Seo Hyun, the main character. Kang Soo Yoon’s role in Jung E was his first in a film in almost ten years; his previous appearance was in the 2013 film Jury.

The actress, unfortunately, made one more on-screen appearance with Jung E before tragically passing away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 55, from a cerebral hemorrhage.

In a live broadcast of her funeral on May 11, 2022, she was honored by many of her family, friends, and peers.

On May 15, 2022, a week after her funeral, TV Chosun aired a documentary featuring archival footage from her life and interviews with people who knew her well, including the renowned Korean director Im Kwon-taek, who had previously collaborated with Kang Soo Yoon on the 1986 film “The Surrogate Woman.”

Jung Yi is portrayed by Kim Hyun Joo in the lead role. In the Dark Fantasy series Hellbound in 2021, Hyun Joo’s last appearance on Netflix. In Hellbound, Ryu Kyung Soo played the supporting character Yoo Ji (Deacon). In 2020’s Lovestruck in the City, he played the lead character in his final Netflix series.

Additionally, the actor will appear in the upcoming Korean drama Glitch. Additionally, Kyung Soo appeared in The Sound of Magic as a guest star and in Itaewon Class as a supporting actor.
