Grown-ish Renewed for the sixth season at Freeform: Freeform has renewed “Grown-ish” for a sixth season. Furthermore, Variety has exclusively learned that Craig Doyle will take over as showrunner for the new season.

Doyle takes over as showrunner on the “Black-ish” spinoff for Zakiyyah Alexander and Courtney Lilly, who took over as co-showrunners on the series as it enters its fifth and current season. Doyle has been with the show since its inception, first as a co-executive producer and then as an executive producer in Season 2.
