Early Life

Conor’s Early Years On July 14, 1988, Anthony McGregor was born in Crumlin, Ireland. He was an excellent soccer player as a boy, but at the age of 12 he started training in boxing. Conor started his plumbing apprenticeship in 2006, when he was only 17 years old. His introduction to UFC came about as a result of working with Tom Egan, a professional UFC competitor. Soon after, Egan and McGregor started training together as well.
