Say it isn’t so! Even though Mark Harmon was certain that he was leaving NCIS, there was still hope as long as his image appeared in the weekly opening credits. With the premiere of season 20, all traces of Harmon, who played Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, have been eliminated.

The new opening credits begin with a montage of the entire new cast, followed by an image of Sean Murray (Timothy McGee), who has been on the series since season 1 as a recurring, but became a series regular in season 2, followed by images of Wilmer Valderrama (Nick Torres), Katrina Law (Jessica Knight), Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer), Diona Reasonover (Kasie Hinds), David McCallum (Alden Parker).
