Yeat, an up-and-coming rapper from Oregon, has provided a sneak peek at the tracklist for his upcoming LYFE EP and is getting ready to release it soon.
Yeat posted a statement and a possible release date for the project on Instagram on Saturday (the 30th of July). He said, “I’m almost finished,” in his note. “the month after that??”

Fans were quick to note out that Lil Uzi Vert makes a guest appearance on not one, but two of the tunes on the EP. After working together on “Big Tonka” and “3G” for Yeat’s 2 Aliv (Gek Pack) in April, which was a deluxe edition of the original 2 Aliv comprising nine new tracks, Uzi and Yeat have already demonstrated that their connection is strong.
In February, the original version of 2 Aliv was released, and it featured guest verses from Gunna, Young Thug, Ken Car$on, SeptembersRich, and Lancey Foux, among others. The album debuted at position No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart after its first week of release, during which it sold approximately 35,000 total album-equivalent units.
Yeat is currently enjoying a moment in the spotlight that is beginning to transition into recognition in the mainstream as well. In May, his track “Turban” was featured in an advertisement for Nike that was run by Dick’s Sporting Goods. An interesting twist considering Yeat’s propensity for rapping about drugs is that the company disclosed it can be tied to anyone’s Nike membership to unlock unique incentives and other privileges.
In addition to this, Drake is a strong supporter of the Portland rapper. Drake showed him even more affection by giving him a pair of Nike Nocta sneakers in March, following a sighting of the two of them together in Houston the previous year.

Fans are getting a steady stream of new music from Lil Uzi Vert in the form of singles. Just two days after releasing their single “Space Cadet” over the weekend, the “20 Min” rapper uploaded “I Know” to SoundCloud on Monday, making it their second release in as many days.
Uzi raps in the second verse, “Made the female drop it on the floor (Floor)/In the days with my cash grow (Grow),” referring to the days when he had his cash grow. “Pick it up ever so slowly (Slow),” the song instructs, “Made her eat my tadpole (‘Pole)”
The new single, produced by Sonny Digital, will appear on their upcoming Red & White EP, their first release since their collaboration with Future on Pluto x Baby Pluto.
Earlier this week, they — Uzi has changed their pronouns to they/them on Instagram — unveiled the album’s cover art, which shows a surreal photograph of a group of men staring at a picture of the rapper.

In addition to their two SoundCloud singles, Uzi collaborated with Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane on “Next Up” and Nigo on “Heavy” earlier this year. Last year, they also published “Demon High.” Eternal Atake and Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2 were their last full-length solo projects released in 2020.
