It is done. After dating for eight months, Katie Holmes and Bobby Wooten III have broken up, multiple sources exclusively reveal to Us Weekly. According to an insider, “Katie and Bobby split up last week; she has stopped talking about him to his friends.”
Simply put, their relationship wasn’t sustainable in the long run. When Holmes, 43, and the musician, 33, were seen holding hands and kissing in New York City in April, it led to rumors that the two were dating.
The following month, at The Moth’s 25th Anniversary Gala, The Silver Ball, the two went on to make their red carpet debut as a couple. About attending the event with the First Daughter star at the time, the Broadway veteran exclusively told Us, “I’m happy to have [Katie] here as my date.”

“I’m ecstatic to be in attendance for [honoree] David [Byrne]. It’s simple to talk about everything he’s done for me because of how much he’s impacted my life. The two went to the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Holmes’ movie Alone Together a few weeks later.

As they walked the red carpet hand in hand and grinned for the cameras, Wooten and the Ohio native. When Holmes traveled with Wooten as his plus one to a close friend’s wedding in the Hamptons in June, it appeared that the Chicago native and Coda actress had taken their relationship to a new level. She also met Wooten’s family.
Katie visited Bobby’s family, who were very fond of her. An eyewitness who spoke exclusively to Us at the time noted that Katie was “very unassuming and kind to everyone” and that the actress took some adorable pictures as the musician made his way down the aisle as the best man.

The couple put on their PDAs at the reception after the ceremony. The insider continued, “Whenever they would miss each other, they would kiss and be overjoyed to be back together.” Katie and Bobby were constantly cuddling; they looked incredibly in love and didn’t care who saw them.

The pair appeared to be still going strong the following month as they went on numerous summertime strolls through New York City. An image posted to the gossip website Deuxmoi shows the Dawson’s Creek alum with New York Rangers player Henrik Lundqvist at Jingle Ball NYC on December 2, following their breakup with the composer.

Prior to dating Wooten, Holmes had a six-year marriage to Tom Cruise, which ended in 2012. After splitting from NYC chef Emilio Vitolo in May 2021, she later moved on with Jamie Foxx, with whom she dated from 2013 to 2019.
Less than a year later, Us confirmed that the Holmes and the chef were “taking space” away from one another and that, over time, their relationship had “fizzled” out.
