Nate Berkus, an American interior designer and television personality with a net worth of over $18 million, is set to return in a brand new season of The Nate & Jeremiah House Project. The second season of the popular HGTV series will begin on February 22, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Nate Berkus will appear in the HGTV series alongside his Husband, Jeremiah Brent. The reality series follows the famed home designer duo as they aid stressed-out families in starting over with lifestyle-appropriate house improvements.

Nate Berkus, sometimes known as Nathan Jay Berkus, was born in Orange County, California on September 17, 1971. His mother, interior designer Nancy Golden, was involved in creating the Minnesota section of the Independent Designers Association and has been on HGTV shows such as Decorating Cents and Room to Change.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Berkus listed his Chicago condo of 3,980 square feet for $2.65 million in 2011. Nate remodeled and designed the 1928-built condominium’s complete interior.

Nate Berkus grew raised in Hopkins, Minnesota. Michael A. Berkus, whose death from brain cancer occurred in 2015, co-founded the National Sports Collectors Conference, an annual trade show.
After finishing high school, Nate Berkus interned in Chicago for Leslie Hindman and in Paris for Dominique Aurientis. He graduated from Lake Forest College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in sociology and French in 1994, and the following year he launched Nate Berkus Associates in Chicago.
In April 2013, after nearly a year of dating, Nate proposed to fellow interior designer Jeremiah Brent. They tied the wedding on May 4, 2014. They received a daughter, Poppy, via surrogacy on March 23, 2015, and a boy, Oskar, via surrogacy on March 26, 2018, respectively.
Prior to meeting Berkus at age 26, Jeremiah Brent had never been in a serious relationship, so their instant connection on their first date in 2012 was a nice surprise. In an interview with PEOPLE, Nate’s husband made the following statement:
“I distinctly recall asking God, what is this? This is not what I believed it to be. There was something about him that made me feel so safe in his company.”
In PEOPLE’s Love Issue, Brent and Berkus discussed their decade-long marriage. Nate Berkus also discussed the influence of his connection with his late lover, the Argentine photographer Fernando Bengoechea, who died in the 2004 Sri Lankan tsunami.
The Oprah star has repeatedly stated how Bengoechea is a part of his and Brent’s tale.

On the second season of HGTV’s The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project, Nate Berkus will co-host with his spouse and fellow interior designer Jeremiah Brent.
Nate and Jeremiah will use their creative abilities to transform houses into perfect dwellings that appropriately represent the residents of HGTV’s blockbuster home remodeling reality series, which had 13.4 million viewers in its debut season.
Mike and Lisa, a new customer for the design team, are introduced in the pilot episode. They dwell in a treasured but crowded home in East Rockaway, New York, with four children.
The team must work within the limits of the current floor plan in order to construct a functional house for the six-person family with distinct rooms for the children and parents.
The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project season 2 starts on HGTV and Discovery+ on Wednesday, February 22 at 9:00 PM ET.
