An American professional soccer player, DeAndre Roselle Yedlin (born July 9, 1993) is a member of Inter Miami CF and the United States national team. Although Yedlin is best known as a right-back, he has also played wide midfield and wing-back.
Professional Career
Yedlin joined Seattle Sounders FC as the club’s first homegrown player on January 11, 2013, following two seasons with Akron.  On March 2, he made his debut in a 1–0 loss against the Montreal Impact at home. When Yedlin made his professional debut, he was recognized as one of the MLS’s best players, making him a first-time recipient of the award.  Against Tigres in the second leg of the Sounders’ 3–2 aggregate triumph in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, he scored his first professional goal for the club.
When Yedlin was named to the MLS All-Star squad on July 15, he became the first rookie since 2005 to be picked to the All-Star team during his rookie season, when Michael Parkhurst was selected.
According to MLSSoccer.com, Yedlin was ranked third among MLS players under the age of 24 in 2013.Â
Against the Colorado Rapids on July 20, 2013, Yedlin scored his first professional league goal.

Yedlin grew up in Seattle, Washington, where he was born and reared. As a child, Yedlin started playing soccer by watching his uncle from the sidelines. Washington State Olympic Development Program (ODP) participant, Yedlin attended O’Dea High School in Seattle and was a member of the ODP from 2006 to 2009. Prior to joining Crossfire Premier of the US Soccer Development Academy, he played youth soccer for Emerald City FC and Northwest Nationals. Yedlin remained in the DA for the 2010–11 season but transferred to the Seattle Sounders FC development system.
Yedlin signed his letter of intent to attend the University of Akron on February 8, 2011.
Zippo Yedlin started 20 of his 23 games in his rookie season. His first collegiate goal came in a 3–1 win over Ohio State on September 28, 2011.  He has six assists during the year. Yedlin played in 22 games and contributed six assists as a sophomore.
