Sophie Turner’s life changed dramatically in September 2023 when her estranged husband, Joe Jonas, filed for divorce, ending their four-year marriage.
Since then, the Game of Thrones star has been keeping busy, such as publicly snogging a multimillion-dollar nobleman.
So, has the English-born actress moved on from Joe and started dating someone new? Here’s why Sophie’s fans believe she has a new lover.
Who is Sophie Turner’s Boyfriend?
Fans were drawn to the Dark Phoenix singer after she was pictured kissing aristocrat Peregrine Pearson in France on October 28. “They arrived at the chauffeur pick-up location outside the station together.” “It looked like they both came on the Eurostar from London,” an eyewitness told The Sun immediately after the PDA photo went viral. “They stood there for a few minutes and were chatting and laughing a lot.”
Sophie and Peregrine reunited at the Rugby World Cup when the Hollywood star unveiled the World Cup trophy, despite kissing and parting ways.
As of publishing, neither Sophie nor Peregrine had publicly addressed relationship rumors.
Why Did Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Divorce?
Sophie and Joe were “at a crossroads” in their marriage, according to In Touch in June 2023.
“Their relationship is strained. “The two have a lot on their plates right now,” an insider told In Touch exclusively at the time. “It’s hardly shocking that they are falling out. But because they love each other, their friends and family are convinced that anything they’re going through will be resolved.”
The couple also hinted at marital problems as Sophie was the only Jonas Brothers wife who did not attend the family band’s gigs after their tour began in August 2023.
Joe filed for divorce the next month, claiming that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and requesting shared custody of their daughters Willa and Delphine.
“After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” Sophie and Joe said in a joint statement. There are many possible explanations, but this is a unanimous choice, and we genuinely hope that everyone can respect our requests for privacy for ourselves and our children.”
However, their split was far from peaceful after Sophie filed a lawsuit against the “Cake By the Ocean” singer on September 20, demanding “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.”
Sophie and Joe agreed to migrate and permanently dwell in England in the winter of 2022, and she claimed she was withholding the children’s passports.
“Joe isn’t about to abandon his children and allow them to be raised thousands of miles away from him.” Some think it’s crazy that Sophie sued him, assuming he’d just let her take the kids to England,” and at the time, an insider exclusively told Life & Style, “Sophie is going to battle for her kids.”

For his part, the rocker was awarded custody of Willa and Delphine from October 21 to November 2, and the pair will repeat the cycle until the deal expires on January 7, 2024.
