The Interest of Love Episode 3 Review
Interest
What a shame, because The Interest of Love was doing so well up until that last conversation. Sang-Su seems to have been playing games with Su-Yeong the whole time, especially if that hug is any indication. This shows his petulant, childish side, which is frustrating because he has someone who is cool, bubbly, and likes him for who he is. Su-Yeong and Sang-Su, on the other hand, have this weird toxic relationship that doesn’t seem to be getting better.
This mystery box isn’t ready to be opened yet, but it seems like a pretty simple mystery, especially if we have to wait a long time to find out why Sang-Su didn’t show up for the date.
The managers at the KCU bank are all very bad, and while I understand that this may be a more accurate representation of what it’s like to work in a place like this in the real world, it makes it hard to really like the supporting characters. But it looks like the drama will keep going tomorrow, so we’ll have to see what happens next.
The Interest of Love Episode 4 Review
Positive Credit
After a slow and shaky start, The Interest of Love seems to be getting its act together and getting back into the love square it is making. We see a lot less stalking and needy Sang-Su and a lot more sad looks and long-standing problems that need to be worked out between our characters, which is much better for the slice-of-life story.
Most of the time, The Interest of Love is a pretty good look at “real life” love, and it’s interesting to see how Mi-Gyeong and Su-Yeong see the world differently. This time, Mi-Gyeong tells us how kind Sang-Su is and how much he cares about the people he likes, which I guess makes up for the problems his character had in the first couple of chapters.
