The latest office romance from JTBC takes place in a regular bank, with a male lead who is very giving and a female lead who is not so accepting. It may become our next favorite.

Storyline The Interest of Love

“The Interest of Love” is set in the office space of KCU Bank’s Yeongpo branch. It is about the employees who work hard every day and their love lives. Yoo Yeon Seok plays Ha Sang Su, the branch manager. In real life, Ha Sang Su was a top student and lives a normal life. He believes that life should be normal and comfortable. Ahn Soo Young, who works at the bank and has been there for four years, is Moon Ga Young. As a beautiful woman with a complicated family history, she lives a complicated life and tries to find simple relationships.

Her view of love is that it is a fleeting feeling that changes quickly. Park Mi Kyung, who used to be Ha Sang Su’s classmate in college, is now the branch’s new assistant manager. Her name is Keum Sae Rok. Jung Ga Ram plays Jeong Jong Hyun, the bank’s security guard, who is in school to become a police officer. Since they spend most of their time at work, that’s where they try to find love. Their office life is shaped by a lot of different events and feelings. Will this be like a typical office romance or will it be different?

Personal view The Interest of Love

The first part of “The Interest of Love” is slow because it introduces the characters and what they are like. The feelings of the main characters, Ha Sang Su and Ahn Soo Young, move forward right from the start. The other two main characters are introduced later, and their stories haven’t been given much attention so far. Ha Sang Su is one of the three bank branch managers who are being blamed by their greedy and self-centered coworkers. Everyone knows how kind he is, but when it comes to love, they ignore him. He likes to play ice hockey in his free time. So far, that’s the only thing I find interesting about him.

The Interest of Love Episode 1 and 2 Review and Highlights

Ahn Soo Young is the most beautiful person in the branch. Every male worker has asked her out, but she has said no just as quickly. Ha Sang Su has been interested in her, but as soon as he gets the courage to ask her out, things go downhill for him pretty quickly. She is a clerk with a high school diploma and a short temper. She likes to put her eggs in different baskets and look for the ones that are easygoing, which is also how she chooses her relationships. Things go wrong for Ha Sang Su because of bad luck. He soon becomes desperate, and it takes everything we have not to scream every time he tries to apologize.

At the same time, Park Mi Kyung’s arrival puts a strain on their relationship, so it seems like Ha Sang Su should move on. Ahn Soo Young tries to make him jealous by going out with the bank’s security guard, Jeong Jong Hyun. Her family history seems to be creeping up on her slowly, just as a couple who owns a restaurant moves in next to the bank. This is the only thing, if not the only thing, that will keep us in our seats for the rest of the show.

The Interest of Love Episode 1 Review

The beginning of “The Interest of Love” is slow because it introduces the characters and what they are like. While Ha Sang Su and Ahn Soo Young’s feelings move forward right away, the other two main characters are introduced later, and their stories haven’t been given much attention so far. Ahn Soo Young is the branch’s beauty, and every man who works there has asked her out and been turned down just as quickly. Ha Sang Su has been interested in her, but as soon as he gets the courage to ask her out, things go downhill pretty quickly for him. She is a clerk with a high school diploma and a short fuse. She likes to put her eggs in different baskets and look for the ones that are easygoing, which is also how she chooses her relationships. Unlucky things happen that make Ha Sang Su and her look bad. He soon becomes desperate, and every time he tries to apologize, it takes everything we have not to scream at him.

Meanwhile, Park Mi Kyung’s arrival threatens their relationship, so Ha Sang Su should probably move on. Ahn Soo Young tries to make him jealous by going out with Jeong Jong Hyun, the bank’s security guard. Her family history seems to be creeping up on her slowly, just as a restaurant-owning couple moves in next to the bank. This is the only thing, if not the only thing, that is keeping us in our seats for the rest of the show.

The Interest of Love Episode 2 Review

Ladies, do you think this is attractive? The needy, clingy, and persistent guy who can’t take no for an answer? I didn’t think so, so no. Since Sang-Su is so hard to root for, I hope he doesn’t end up with Su-Yeong at this point. He doesn’t have anything that makes him stand out, and the whole show seems set on making him a sad guy with puppy-dog eyes who just wants to be in love. But why does he even like Su-Yeong?

The Interest of Love Episode 1 and 2 Review and Highlights

Su-Yeong, on the other hand, is a far more interesting person. Even though we don’t know why she broke up with Sang-Su, he should just accept her choice and move on. There are many other women around. I think Mr. Jeong might be a close friend or a family member, which would explain why they are so close. It wouldn’t surprise me if the man at the oyster shop turned out to be Su-father Yeong’s and her family opened the shop next to the bank.

That’s pretty much the only reason to keep watching this show. Some people will like this one, but Sang-toxic su’s behavior, like following Su-Yeong around and constantly getting in her space, makes him a hard character to like. The story doesn’t have much of a hook, and neither do the supporting characters. We’ll see how this one goes over the next few weeks.
