The story is based on Lee Eun-novel so’s July 18, 2018, book Joseon Jungshingwa Yoosepoong. It talks about what Joseon’s psychiatrists went through. The series takes place in Joseon in the 1800s and shows Yoo Se’s mental and physical healing. Park Won Gook and Kang Hee Ju were in charge of the direction, and Lee Bom wrote the script for TV.
The story of the show is based on the famous novel “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist.” In the tvN drama, Kim Min Jae plays Yoo Se Poong, a smart doctor who has just been kicked out of the imperial capital because of a plot.
During the first season, the show followed him as he tried to reach his goal of becoming a doctor. In the episode, Seo Eun Woo (Kim Min Jae) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) had to meet in the strange but beautiful village of Gyesu.

A new episode will air every Wednesday and Thursday. Unlike the last season, which had twelve episodes, this one will only have ten. The broadcast can be seen on Viki by people outside of Korea. Yoo Se Poong used to be a doctor for the royal family, but he was kicked out of the palace because he was part of a plot against the royal family. Se Poong had nowhere else to go, so he ended up in Gyesu, a strange but beautiful village. There, he met Seo Eun Woo and Gye Ji Han, who changed his life for good.
Se Poong started to grow as a person and as a doctor with the help of his new friends. Se Poong reached his goal of becoming a real doctor when he learned how to treat not only the body but also the heart and mind of his patients. He thought so, anyway. Se Poong must go on another journey to improve himself and the lives of those around him because he has new patients and new problems to solve.
Will Se Poong’s new adventures help him learn more about the mind and heart through the unconventional ways he treats his patients, both mentally and physically?
