Itaewon Class Season 1 Review: A Perfect Story for Your Interests!

Anshul

Park Saeroyi (Park Seo Joon) is kicked out of high school after getting into a fight with the Chairman’s son and refusing to do what the Chairman told him to do, which was to apologize to Jang Geun-won (Ahn Bo Hyun).

Because of this, his father quits his job at the Chairman’s company in order to solve the problem. After that, Saeroyi has a bad night when he finds out that his father died in a car accident that was caused by Geun-dangerous won’s driving. Oh, Soo-ah (Kwon Nara) knew the picture of the car that Saeroyi was given because she had seen Geun-won show it off at their school.

Because the real killer of Saeroyi’s father’s death was being hidden, Saeroyi’s anger grew out of control, and he attacked Jang Geun-won. He went to jail because of what he did.

Saeroyi already had a long-term plan for his coup against Jangga Group, whose CEO is Jang Dae-hee (Yoo Jae Myung), when he got out of prison. Starting with a small pub in Itaewon, he built Dambam and is now working with Jo Yi-Seo (Kim Da Mi), Choi Seung Kwon (Ryu Kyung Soo), Ma Hyeon-Yi (Lee Joo Young), Jang Geun-soo (Kim Dong Hee), and Kim To-ni to make it the best food company in the country (Chris Lyon).

Itaewon Class Series Highlights

The Implication of How Minor Infractions Can Cause Serious Crimes

Jang Geun-won bullied Lee Ho-jin (Lee David) all the time. On Saeroyi’s first day as a transfer student, he stepped in because he couldn’t stand to see Jang Geun-won treat Lee Ho-jin badly.

Itaewon Class Season 1 Review

Even if the teacher in the room does nothing while Geun-won acts badly because he is the Chairman’s son, it is still upsetting. The story then goes on to explain how Geun-won caused the accident that killed Saeroyi’s father, how the truth about the accident was hidden, and how someone else was blamed for Geun-terrible won’s act.

This list of small to big crimes shows how powerful people in society are blind to laws and wrongs and just brush them under the rug. It also shows how they abuse their power over those below them.

In a similar way, the series shows the unfair system that exists in the real world, where people who aren’t powerful enough or who aren’t in the upper class can’t protect and fight for what’s right.

Vengeance to Willingness to Live

Park Saeroyi was miserable without his father by his side as he worked hard to run the small pub he opened as part of his long-term plan to bring down the Jangga Group. This was all part of his relentless quest to get revenge for his father’s death.

This changes when Saeroyi meets Jo Yi-Seo, as seen in his dream when his father asks him to come with him across the bridge to the afterlife to stop suffering and be with him. Saeroyi chooses to live even though he misses his father. He does this because he has found a new reason to live, and that reason is Jo Yi-Seo.

Thoughts on the Itaewon Class Series

Park Saeroyi is a well-made character who we can look up to not just as a business person, but also because he has a positive outlook on life and won’t give in to anyone who stands in the way of his big dream.

Itaewon Class Season 1 Review

We also like how well Park Seo Joon shows how Park Saeroyi, a former criminal who has found success with the help of his close friends, feels and lives. In this series, other famous actors who played roles that made people gasp are also praised.

The leaders of Jangga Group and Itaewon Class run their businesses in very different ways. One treats his employees like animals, while the other treats them like people and pays more attention to what makes them unique. This will make viewers root for Park Saeroyi.

Also, one thing we will always remember from Itaewon Class and use in our everyday lives is that life is hard and it is always better to deal with it with someone we trust and feel comfortable telling our feelings to.

Notably, Park Bo Gum, who fans fell in love with as a handsome chef, makes a cameo in this series. This is not to be missed.

Above all, we can say with certainty that Itaewon Class has a well-written story, a lot to teach, and great acting, all of which make it easy for people to like the show.
