At the beginning of Brain Works episode 2, Dr. Shin and detective Myung-Se get into a fight. Brain Works Episode 2 Recap

Dr. Shin (Jung Yong-Hwa) and detective Myung-Se (Cha Tae-Hyun) get into a fight in the second episode of Brain Works because the detective told a reporter something that got Dr. Shin fired. Dr. Shin wants to get even, but he acts like he doesn’t know what’s going on. They agree to work together to figure out what happened to an artist. The captain tells detective Geum to work well with Dr. Shin to show the subsection chief that he is wrong to be biased against her.

At home, the detective’s daughter thinks Dr. Shin is handsome, but the detective says that he has two different personalities. Dr. Shin says that he worked as a consultant for the police to make friends in the media and teach the detective a lesson. He also says that he wants to find proof that Detective Geum is a bad cop.

In this episode of Brain Works, fans of Kim Jae Won protest outside the police station, and Dr. Shin and Detective Geum fight again. The doctor isn’t sure how smart the detective is and is glad that the captain cleaned the office. They ask the artist’s wife questions, but she has a condition that makes her lie, so what she says turns out to be a lie.

Dr. Shin figures out that her condition is caused by drinking, so it can’t be used in court. Detective Geum doesn’t want to believe Dr. Shin’s theory, so they bet that if it’s true, Geum will have to praise Shin. The investigation starts over, and when Dr. Shin can’t say anything nice about the detective, he hits him.

Detective Geum and Dr. Shin look into a case where a bracelet was poisoned. They think that someone else turned on the bracelet app, and they find out that Mr. Oh, who knew the victim was sick, maybe a suspect.

The victim’s doctor is the next person they look into, and they find out that she told the victim’s wife, “You killed him.” Dr. Shin thinks that the doctor did it because she loved the victim, even though she didn’t want to date him. Dr. Shin finally notices that someone else in the room knows why the doctor did what he did.

Kim Jae Won’s patient finds out that his doctor was lying when he said he wasn’t seeing him. The doctor throws her phone off a bridge, which makes the detective team wonder if it was stolen.

They look into the victim’s wife and the man who was following Dr. Kim around, Mr. Oh. Dr. Kim is then found stabbed in her apartment, and Ms. Jung is taken into custody. The captain thinks that Dr. Kim is the killer, but when Dr. Shin talks to Detective Geum’s ex-wife, he gets an idea. Dr. Shin and Detective Geum go to Mr. Oh’s workplace and play a mind game with him to get him to admit that he killed Jae Won.

Mr. Oh is found with the phone that was used to turn on the high-frequency app that killed Kim Jae Won. This proves that Mr. Oh killed Kim Jae Won. Dr. Shin tries to clear his name and reputation after being fired from the hospital, and he exposes a corrupt detective who takes bribes.
