With the May 2023 release of the spin-off XO Kitty, the To All the Boys universe will keep growing. Focusing on Kitty, Lara Jean’s younger sister, who goes to a different continent to meet her long-distance boyfriend.
Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild will oversee the 30-minute drama as showrunners. Han, whose novels inspired the To All the Boys movie, worked with fellow author Siobhan Vivian on the season premiere.
Xo Kitty Release Date: When Will Xo Release?
In March, a month later, it was announced that a spin-off series of To All the Boys is being made, and each episode will be a half-hour romance comedy.
This news came after the last part of the triptych, which came out in 2021, had a successful run. Netflix gave the spin-off series the official green light in October, making it the first live-action show based on a Netflix original movie.
When it was found out that all ten episodes of XO Kitty would be released at the same time on May 18, 2023, the series got its official release date two years later in the same month.

In the clip, an older Kitty is seen begging her parents to let her go to the same Korean private school that her mother went to.
It’s also the same school where her long-term partner, Dae, goes to school, which Kitty sees as a sign.
In typical Kitty fashion, and because she knows she is good at setting people up, she has made a presentation that starts with a picture of Lara Jean and Peter, which reminds us of how hot their chemistry was in the 3-second flashback and also reminds her father of how she helped him get together with Trina.
In the teaser, she also finds her mother’s box, which has everything her mother got during the year she spent at the residential school, also called KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul).
She decides to go to the school because she is unhappy with how little she knows about her mother and how little her Korean background is appreciated. She got the same scholarship that her mother did, which was just her luck.
How Many Xo Kitty Episodes Are There?
There are 10 episodes in the first season of XO’s Kitty. Every Episode is 30 Minutes long. The segments are led by Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora.
