Tim, like He Who Remains, is an important character in Loki Season 2. This individual is critical to the Multiverse Saga and the destiny of the MCU as a whole. Sylvie, the version of Loki played by Sophia Di Martino, chose to slay He Who Remains, also known as Nathaniel Richards. This was shown toward the end of Loki’s first season. Richards was the Time Variance Authority’s hidden founder and ensured the safety of the Sacred Timeline.
Kang The Conqueror’s version is Victor Timely. He first appears in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, when Loki and Mobius attend one of his seminars in the post-credit scene.
Victor Timely is on his way because Miss Minutes wants to shape him into a successor for He Who Remains, her previous master. She accomplishes this by traveling back in time and placing a TVA manual in his past. However, when Loki and Mobius track him down, it becomes clear that he is a trickster.
Most of his innovations fail, but he claims it’s because the technology of the time is insufficient. They persuade him to accompany them back to their base, still hoping he can assist them in repairing the decaying loom at the Time Variance Authority.
That would put them directly in confrontation with the Council of Kings, which is a very hazardous position to be in. Loki has already died at the hands of a power-hungry villain, and his variant will have to fight hard to avoid the same fate if he and Mobius fall victim to Timely’s trickery.
Victor Timely in the Comics
Victor Timely is a Kang Variant who dwells on Earth in the early twentieth century. He’s a brilliant inventor and expert technician who founded the town properly named Timely.
He transforms his town into an industrial marvel (pun intended) and establishes Timely Industries, which he uses to create secrets from future technologies. Consider it a Stark Industries product from the early twentieth century.
