As the fourth season of Warzone and Vanguard comes to an end, information about Season 5’s multiplayer and battle royale mode is starting to emerge. The Season 5 roadmap is eagerly awaited by players because it is widely regarded as the final season of post-launch content for the Pacific era.
The roadmap is the first piece of information to be released prior to the start of a new season, and it provides players with a summary of the new content coming to both games.
Because many people believe Season 5 is the final one before Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are released, the upcoming season could end with a bang.

For this season’s Heroes vs Villains theme, Vanguard is ditching the realistic World War II backdrop and bringing back Call of Duty enemies from other eras.
Last Stand features Raul Menendez from Black Ops 2, Khaled Al-Asad from Modern Warfare, Gabriel T. Rorke from Call of Duty: Ghosts, and He ‘Seraph’ Zhen-Zhen from the Black Ops series as villains. Each of these characters will receive operator packs throughout Season 5.

What You Can Expect
Although there has been no official confirmation of Warzone or Vanguard, a new Call of Duty season usually means a new battle pass to level up as well as new maps, modes, and weaponry. Another pair of Task Force operators will almost certainly be unlocked in Season 5.
Season 5 could bring a slew of new operator skins, including skins for well-known Call of Duty villains from previous games. Rumors and potential leaks, on the other hand, should not always be taken seriously.
Since Vanguard’s multiplayer update was incredibly sparse during Season 4, it’s unclear how much can be expected from this possible final season of DLC. After the addition of the USS Texas 1945 and Desolation maps in Season 4, it’s likely that at least one new map will appear in Season 5.

Season 4 gave Vanguard its first round-based Zombies map, Shi No Numa, with an improved version. While Season 5 specifics have yet to be confirmed, Treyarch did hint that a new traditional map was in the works. As a result, Vanguard players may receive one more traditional map to complete the Dark Aether storyline.
Starting with previous seasons, here is everything we expect to see in Vanguard Season 5:
- New game modes
- New multiplayer map
- New Operators
- New Ranked Play rewards
- New weapons
- New Zombies content
- Season 5 Battle Pass
