Based on Christopher Pike’s novel of the same name, the series follows eight terminally ill patients at Brightcliffe Hospice who gather every night at midnight to share terrifying tales.
After the young adults make a covenant stating that the next person to die must bring the group a message from the afterlife, supernatural occurrences begin to occur.

Where Was the Midnight Club Filmed?
The Midnight Club was filmed in and around the British Columbia city of Burnaby and the broader Vancouver area.
Production on the project began on March 15, 2021, and lasted around six months, concluding on September 10, 2021.
The series was filmed primarily at The Bridge Studios, which is located at 2400 Boundary Road in Burnaby and features an astonishing 13 sound stages.
According to the local news website Delta Optimist, further locales included in the series include Ladner Village, a 20-minute drive from Vancouver, and Ladner United Church.
Moreover, the Spanish Banks beaches in Vancouver played a significant role in the beach sequences of the series, while the neighboring city of Surrey also hosted some filming.
Fans expecting to engage in eerie tourism may be disappointed to hear that Brightcliffe Hospice is a fictional location constructed for the series. Even the building’s name has been altered since it was originally referred to as Rotterham Home.

Thanks to financial incentives provided by the local government, Burnaby and the broader Vancouver area have become extremely popular movie locations in recent years.
