The streaming platform has already renewed the Apple TV Plus series for a second season, so here’s what we know about the Shrinking season 2 release date.
In Shrinking, Jason Segel, a former cast member of How I Met Your Mother, plays a grief-stricken therapist who stops following his training and starts being more honest with his clients.
In a statement about renewing the Apple TV show, Matt Cherniss, head of programming for the streaming service, said, “We have loved the engaging, touching, and hilarious world of Shrinking from the start, and it has been great to see how audiences around the world continue to connect with these big-hearted characters. We can’t wait for Season 2 to start so that viewers can see what the cast and creative team have planned.”
Shrinking Season 2 Release Date Speculation
As of today, there is no exact date for the release of season 2 of Shrinking.
But since season 1 of the Television program did take 9 months to make, it makes sense to think that season 2 will come out in March 2024. If the second season starts being made by April or May 2023.
Shrinking Season 2 Plot Speculation
The plot of season 2 hasn’t been finalized yet, but it’s likely that it will continue to show Jimmy’s journey through grief and how he helps his clients deal with their problems.
We might also learn more about Jimmy’s relationships with his daughter Alice and his coworker Gaby. Other subplots, like his boss Paul trying to live with Parkinson’s disease, will probably also show up, but we’ll have a better idea of where the comedy will go next once all of season 1’s episodes are out.
Shrinking Season 2 Cast
Most of the main characters will probably be back. This means that at least Jason Segal and Harrison Ford will be back, along with Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Christa Miller, who are also important to the cast.
Jimmy may take on new clients or interact with new characters in season 2 of the drama series to change things up. We’ll let you know if any casting news comes out.
