A Jack Carr novel served as the inspiration for David DiGilo’s eight-episode action drama-thriller series. Prime Video on Amazon began streaming the show on July 1, 2022.
In the official synopsis of The Terminal List on Amazon, “Reece returns home with mixed memories of the event and questions about his responsibility. However, when additional information comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, risking not only his life but the lives of those he cares about.”

When Will the Second Season of the Terminal List Be Released?

Not yet been renewed by Amazon Prime Video for a second season. This action-packed series is set to return for a second season following its success this year. Film director Antoine Fuqua, screenwriter Dave DiGilio and novelist Jack Carr discussed the series’ future with Screen Rant just before its release. In the hopes of a second season, DiGilio said, “Fingers crossed.” That is the goal, Fuqua said. “We obviously had that larger picture in mind when we started.” As a result, “Amazon will do it again if we are blessed and successful.”

Season 2 of the Terminal List

“I don’t know what their problem is,” joked Jack Carr. Amazon, on the other hand, hasn’t made a final decision on whether or not to continue the series. This does not imply that everything is going wrong. The writing staff has a “roadmap” for “each season,” according to Dave DiGilio.

The term “each” serves as a functional indicator that the show can extend beyond season 2. When questioned about the possibility of a sequel series, A-list actor Chris Pratt told Digital Spy, “Well, Jack Carr’s written five fantastic books. ” “He’s quite a prolific author, and they’re all reaching the top of the New York Times’ Best Seller list,” said the actor. “I think it would be wonderful if it continued.”

Is Season 2 of The Terminal List coming soon?

If the show is revived for a second season, it will be based on the second book of Jack Carr’s novel. There are four more books to go after the first season. This suggests that the show has the potential to go for five seasons at the very least.

Chris Pratt said, “Yeah, of course,” when asked if he would like James Reece’s narrative to continue. The books are some of my favorites. All five have been read by me. “In the Blood” was my most recent read. It’s the best one yet, in my opinion. It’s just fantastic. In addition, he described the first book as “amazing.”

Carr is a prolific author,” says the narrator. Every year, they release a new novel. This is simply their work ethic. Every former spec operator we hired, they’re the first and the last to arrive and leave. Besides their regular duties, they’re willing to take on any other task that comes their way. “It’s a team effort,” he said. This is why our military personnel makes such a great transition into the film and television industry, and I hope to see more of that. ”

Season 2 of the Terminal List

A number of veterans were employed on the show, Pratt explained. However, I’d love to do more of this. In some cases, things can get a little complex. It’s important to note that the second book in the series takes place on location. With my own family at home, I have to limit the amount of location work that I carry out.

We shot in Los Angeles, so it fits in nicely between two other location gigs I had going on at the same time. It’s up to me to decide whether I’m willing to sacrifice a movie project for a season of this program if we keep it going and it turns into location work. Time will tell if this is true or not. It’s something I’d be delighted to do.

“In my opinion, it would be wonderful. The character has a special place in my heart. The stories are getting better and better as they go on. To continue working with the creative team who helped me create this, I’d love to do so in the future. Everything depends on how busy my dance calendar is and when I have time to squeeze it in,” he said.
