What is the Plot of Riverdale Season 6?

The season 6 opener episode takes us to “Rivervale.” It exists in a parallel dimension to “the town with pep,” a place ruled by magic, monsters, and superstitions. We witnessed some truly terrifying plots, including sacrifices (yes), “sin pie,” and the devil.

Riverdale Season 6 (1)

Episode six, the first episode to air in the second season, picks up immediately after the events of the season 5 finale, which means we’re back in Riverdale and Hiram Lodge has just detonated a bomb in Archie’s house, with Archie and Betty inside. However, the two somehow survive the explosion, and the show continues with its otherworldly adventures, with Archie and Betty discovering that they have true superpowers.

A second musical episode of Riverdale will air this season, TVLine reported on April 9. This time, the show will replicate “American Psycho,” a musical based on the same-named book and 2000 movie about Patrick Bateman, an executive in finance in the 1980s who has a secret serial killer alter persona.

For Riverdale season 6, who is coming back?

Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Camila Mendes, Madeline Petsch, Charles Melton, Vanessa Morgan, Casey Cott, Drew Ray Tanner, Erinn Westbrook, and Mädchen Amick all returned for season six as members of the main cast. “Where are the bodies?” Sabrina inquires first. “They’re both really cute.”

“To complete the resurrection, we’ll need a coven,” she says, to which Betty (Lili Reinhart) responds, “We’re not witches, sorry.”

Riverdale’s seventh season—will it happen?

Yes! According to Deadline, Riverdale received a seventh season renewal on March 22. But this will be the last installment of the CW series.

The CW Network’s chairman and CEO, Mark Pedowitz, said in a statement regarding the network’s renewed series, “As we prepare for the 2022–23 season, these scripted series, along with the alternative series we renewed earlier, will serve as the start of a solid foundation utilizing some of our most-watched series for us to build on for next year and beyond.

” Since they are some of our most streamed and socially engaged content, these dramas are also crucial to our broader digital strategy. We anticipate bringing back and adding more new series to bolster this strategy.

Fans were prepared for the announcement even before Riverdale’s final season was officially announced in May because Lili Reinhart had hinted that it would end during an Instagram Live in November 2021.
