Attica Locke and Tembi Locke created the original Netflix series From Scratch. It is inspired by the best-selling novel ‘From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home’ by Tembi Locke.
Hello, Sunshine is created by Nzingha Stewart, Guy Louthan, and Emily Ferenbach, while Cisely Saldana and Mariel Saldana produce for Cinestar and Attica serves as showrunner and executive producer.
Other executive producers include Tembi, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, Zoe Saldana for Cinestar, Richard Abate, Jermaine Johnson, and Will Rowbotham.
This romantic drama will launch on Netflix on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET.

“From Scratch” is the story of an African-American woman attending college in Florence who falls in love with a Sicilian chef. She then constructs a future with him in Los Angeles, uniting two opposed cultures.
Amy becomes her husband’s caregiver after an unexpected diagnosis of cancer. She is ultimately the one who unites their two unique families. Due to his passing, she and her daughter created a new mixed family.

Netflix has officially announced the premiere of “From Scratch,” a magnificent autobiographical romance film showing the journey of an American woman’s unending love.
According to Netflix, the show will be published by Simon & Schuster on April 30, 2021, and has been selected as Reese’s Book Club x Hello Sunshine May 2019 selection.

From Scratch is a love story about an American woman in Italy who falls in love with a Sicilian.
When she unexpectedly loses him, she is compelled to grieve in order to nurture her kid with hope, joy, and infinite love, as she would have wished.
The entire story focuses on a single mother’s unceasing efforts, struggle, sadness, love, and unity for her daughter, as well as how she adapts to reality and recovers from several scrapes to care for her kid.
She also became a great mother as an adult. This tale will move your heart and moralize a lady who has sacrificed all for her family and is capable of facing the world by herself.
