On March 31, 2023, Murder Riddle 2 came out on Netflix. It starred Jennifer Anniston and Adam Sandler as Audrey and Nick, the couple who solved a murder riddle in the first movie, which came out in 2019. It turned out that they had convinced him to work as a detective since then, but not very well.
In this sequel, they are once again at a weekend getaway with strange guests and a big riddle. This time, Maharajah has been taken away. The plot had more guns, bigger breaks of luck, and more chances to get away. It also took fans through the crazy streets of Paris.
The end scene took place at the Eiffel Tower, after all the chaos that led to Audrey and Nick getting the ransom money. As expected, the last few minutes were full of excitement and action that was bigger than life. The movie also left things open for a possible third Murder Mystery movie.
Murder Mystery 2 Ending Explained
Nick and Audrey and everyone else who was still living at the end of Murder Mystery 2 went to the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower. This group was made up of Inspector Delacroix, Claudette, Saira, Francisco, and Colonel Ulenga, who was Vik’s protection.
Nick said that the kidnapper was someone who knew a lot about many things, like bombs, detonators, and deep fakes because he had given enough reasons and conclusions. Vik soon showed up in the lift with a bomb on his body. The people who took them, hostage, told them to send the money up in the elevator or else.
Nick figured out that the bomb was just a fake threat and that the kidnapper was only after the money. Nick was right: Miller was the one who took the girl. He pretended to be dead so that he wouldn’t be on the list of suspects.
Soon, a fight broke out at the top of the Eiffel Tower, with Miller and his men in a helicopter fighting Nick, Francisco, and the still-charming Audrey. At first, it looked like Miller had the upper hand. However, after a big fight, Audrey and Nick threw Miller off the roof and into the blades of Miller’s men’s helicopter, causing them to crash into the Sienna as well.
It seemed like the mystery was over, but Audrey and Nick had already figured out that someone in the inner group had planned this kidnapping with Miller. Audrey saw that Saira was holding something red. The second person said it was the Henna that got all smeared.
Audrey, who has been a hairdresser for a long time, saw through the lie right away. She said that Henna paints very quickly and doesn’t smudge. She also said that she hadn’t seen Saira right before she was taken.
Saira tried to shoot Vik again, but the Colonel dove in front of her and took the bullet again. Saira did this because she was upset that her parents gave everything to her brother, who was more of a “playboy,” instead of her.
The murder mystery was now over for the second time. Nick and Audrey got enough money from the Maharajah, which he put in a bag made of dinosaur skin.
