The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is famed for its capacity to develop interesting and beloved characters, and Kamala Khan, nicknamed Ms. Marvel, is one of its most recent additions to the roster.
Iman Vellani, who plays Kamala Khan in the Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel,” made her debut in the role, and fans are eagerly awaiting word on the release date of the second season.
Unfortunately, we only got six episodes of Kamala’s new Marvel series, which seems insufficient. In this article, we’ll explore what we know so far about the release date for “Ms. Marvel” Season 2.
When Will Ms. Marvel Season 2 Be Released?
Ms. Marvel Season 2 does not yet have an official release date, but it will most certainly be announced shortly.
If Ms. Marvel receives a second season, it won’t come out until late 2024. After The Marvels reaches theaters on November 10, we’ll most likely learn more about a potential Ms. Marvel season 2.
Iman Vellani, Kamala Khan’s wife, has expressed optimism for a potential second season, although she wants some Inhumans characters to make an appearance.
She told CinemaBlend during the program’s debut that she fought for Lockjaw, the hefty sweetie dog, to appear on the show. “I tried to get a Lockjaw Easter egg, but it didn’t happen!” But then there’s season two. If there is a second season.”
Who Will Be in the Ms. Marvel Season 2 Cast?
If Ms. Marvel season 2 is made, Iman Vellani will lead the cast. Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, and the rest of the cast are expected to return.
Here is the list of expected Cast members in season 2:
- Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel
- Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli
- Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia Bahadir
- Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan
- Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan
- Saagar Shaikh as Aamir Khan
- Laurel Marsden as Zoe Zimmer
- Azhar Usman as Najaf
What Will Happen in Ms. Marvel?
It’s impossible to predict what Ms. Marvel season 2 will be about because we believe it will take place after the events of The Marvels. However, there are a few things we would like to see happen.
Kamala should investigate her mutant abilities and status more thoroughly, possibly even hunting down others of her type. That may be a wonderful tie-in for when the X-Men make their MCU debut. It would be fantastic if they could preserve Ms. Marvel’s exploits on a smaller scale as well.
Kamala isn’t the type of person who needs to deal with an Avengers-level threat every week, so a good street-level Marvel villain, preferably pulled from the pages of her comic, like the Inventor (a huge parrot who thinks he’s Thomas Edison), would be the ideal nemesis for her to fight.
Finally, Kamala must interact with some of her other superheroes. Kamala’s fangirl status makes her the ideal contrast for even the most pompous of heroes, and we can’t wait to see how more austere characters like Doctor Strange and the Winter Soldier react to her.
