With the release of the second season of the popular fantasy anime “Made in Abyss,” fans will be able to continue their adventurous investigation of the lost civilisation within its huge dark pit. Don’t be fooled by the adorable animation style; this series is far more than it appears on the surface — and it’s not one to watch with the whole family.
When Riko was a little orphan girl, she lived in a town that had a massive pit in the middle of it. The pit was filled with a plethora of treasures and weird creatures, and it beckoned Cave Raiders to venture into its depths in search of long-lost treasure.
Only a handful of people have returned from the cave’s deepest depths, including Riko’s mother, a famed Cave Raider who went missing while on an expedition. The pair go on a perilous journey into a deadly otherworld after Riko discovers a robot boy named Reg and receives a message from her mother instructing her to meet her at the bottom of the deep abyss.
There has been one sequel to the series, which is a feature-length film named “Dawn of the Deep Soul,” which has been released since Season 1. According to ComicBook, the show will receive a full-length second season, as well as a recently announced video game, in the near future.

So, What Exactly is the Storyline of Made in Abyss Season 2?
According to ComicBook, only a few facts regarding “Made in Abyss” Season 2 have been disclosed so far, but we do know that the events of the second season take place after the events of Season 1 and the feature film “Dawn of the Deep Soul.” Presumably, the anime will continue the tale of the manga, picking up where the manga left off in the sixth tier of the Abyss. Fans will need to see the film in order to properly comprehend the plot.
With the announcement of the season’s release date came the publication of an image on Twitter from the “Made in Abyss” team, which was intended to get fans excited for the upcoming season. It features the manga character Faputa, who has yet to appear in an anime adaptation of the series. As a result, the following are the primary cast members for Made in Abyss Season 2. Misaki Kuno (A Certain Magical Index) will voice Vueko, while Mutsuki Saiga (Attack on Titan) will portray Belaf. Hiroaki Hirata (One Piece) will portray Wazukyan, and Yuka Terasaki (A Certain Magical Index) will voice Vueko and Belaf, respectively (The Seven Deadly Sins).

When Will Made in Abyss Season 2 be Released on DVD and Blu-ray?
After “Made in Abyss” Season 2 was initially officially announced in 2019, we now have an exact release date for when it will be available on television. Or, at the very least, we know what year it is — 2022. However, we do know that the game will be titled “Made in Abyss: The Golden Town of the Relentless Day” and that it will be released sometime in the next year.
There is currently no known release date beyond the next year. Additionally, in addition to a second season, a video game version of “Made in Abyss,” named “Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness,” will be released in 2022 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms (via ComicBook).
Since its debut in 2012, the manga series created by Akihito Tsukushi has been released on a regular basis. There are presently nine volumes in the series, but it is still ongoing, with a few chapters having been uploaded on Web Comic Gamma that have not yet been gathered into a tenth collection. Since its debut in 2017, anime has been trying to catch up with the manga in terms of popularity.
