Is There Going to Be a Manifest Spinoff or Sequel Series on Netflix: In the Season 4 Part 2 finale of Netflix’s Manifest, the “Death Date” of each traveler on Flight 828 is finally decided. Ben and Michaela Stone and other people from 828 have been trying to solve their “Callings” for five years to help keep the ship from sinking. All of humanity was saved from the end of the world because most of the 828 passengers were thought worthy by a higher power.

On April 7, 2013, Flight 828 made its last landing at La Guardia Airport in New York City, which marked the end of Season 4. Yes, the people got back to where they started. But are our favorite heroes really done?

Even though it seems like everyone got a happy ending—Ben reunites with his wife Grace and their kids, and Michaela “meets” Zeke, a cab driver, outside the airport—fans can’t help but wonder if this is really the end.

In November 2022, Distractify talked to Manifest’s creator, Jeff Rake, in an exclusive interview about the chance of a spinoff series. Find out what he said by reading on!

Even though there hasn’t been an official announcement of a spinoff series, fans can’t help but wonder if the show’s creator has planned out future plots and/or a spinoff series.

“There are really strong, satisfactory answers to almost every problem. Still, I love these characters, and it makes me happy to see how much the fans love them,” Jeff said. “When you have a good relationship with your characters and your fans, a greedy showrunner can’t help but wonder, ‘Is there more to tell about these people?’ So, I spent a lot of time coming up with ideas for stories that could happen in the beyond [Episode 420]. So you just don’t know.”

“Manifest” Star J.r. Ramirez Thinks There Could Be a Spinoff

Aside from the show’s author, J.R. Ramirez talked about the possibility of a spinoff series and whether or not he would be interested in playing Jared Vasquez again.

“I mean, let’s go, let’s see. “It depends,” the actor told Distractify in an exclusive interview on the red carpet at the ATX TV Festival. “Well, sure, why not? I mean, we’ve been on an amazing trip. We’re all like a real family now. Jeff is the most fun boss I’ve ever had. So, yeah, 100%”

Also, star Josh Dallas told The Hollywood Reporter that he thinks Manifest could lead to a “major sequel or spinoff.”

With so many people and stories going on at once, it would be possible to learn a lot about how some of the other main characters in the series were affected.

Josh told the outlet about some possible plots. “Maybe we go into the future and see Eden [Ben’s daughter] at 21 or so as she’s navigating the world, or we follow the younger passengers,” he said. “Maybe we go back to 2013 and do a deep dive into the investigation with [NSA director] Vance.” Overall, fans wouldn’t be offended if another plane disappeared.

Part 2 of Season 4 of Manifest is now available to watch on Netflix.
