Is The Fighter Based on a True Story?

If you’ve seen the Fighter trailer, you may be aware that the scenario is based on the true story of Pakistan’s 2019 assaults on India. The film portrays a group of top IAF pilots who band together to fight an approaching threat.

The film makes references to the 2019 Pulwama incident, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the 2019 India-Pakistan border skirmishes, as well as how the IAF pilots returned it to the terrorists when the time came.

Ramon Chibb, an ex-army officer and writer, contributed to the film’s story. The fighter is expected to feature “much heavier” action scenes than Pathaan (2023). To prepare for his role, Hrithik Roshan visited the Air Force training academy in Telangana and spent time with pilots and cadets.
