Release Date of I Am Groot

The premiere of “I Am Groot” is scheduled for August 10, 2022, and it will be made available solely through the Disney+ streaming service. In contrast to other series that have recently debuted on the streaming site, all five episodes of this one will be made available at the same time. As a result, you will be able to witness Groot’s adventures in their entirety at the same time. In these quick and entertaining episodes, Groot will engage with a wide variety of extraterrestrial life forms the majority of the time.

Where in the Timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Do the Events of “I Am Groot” Take Place?

I Am Groot allegedly “takes place exactly between the end of Guardians 2 and before the tag scene in Guardians 2,” as stated by Marvel Studios Head of Streaming Brad Winderbaum. Therefore, Groot is in that kind of post-toddler stage of growth within this brief window of opportunity.”

This is a somewhat constrained chronology, and as a result, there are probably going to be some openings for more shorts set when Groot was a teenager, for example. And it turns out to be a good thing because it does not appear that this particular event will be a one-time only occurrence.

Is Season 2 of I Am Groot in the Works?
