Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, currently streaming on Hulu, will return for a second season despite the odds. The announcement came on February 2nd, 2019, more than a year after it first appeared on the streaming service.

Variety has learned that the second season of the Hulu animated adult series “Hit-Monkey” has been Renewed.
The renewal comes more than a year after the show’s debut in November of 2021. The show follows a Japanese snow monkey whose tribe is wiped off, just like the Marvel Comics character of the same name. He then forms an alliance with the spirit of American hitman Bryce in order to exact vengeance on the Yakuza.
In the upcoming episode, Hit-Monkey and Bryce will make the trip from Japan to upcoming York. Hit-Monkey is voiced by Fred Tatasciore. Olivia Munn returns as Akiko Yokohama, Jason Sudeikis reprises his role as Bryce, and Ally Maki reprises her role as Haruka in the voice cast. Leslie Jones will also be joining the cast for Season 2 but her role is yet unknown.

There has been no confirmation of a premiere date for Season 2 of Hit-Monkey. After Hit-Monkey’s renewal for a second season, the announcement is imminent.

What Really Happens in Season 2 of “Hit Monkey?”
After the carnage, the first season of Hit-Monkey provides a glimmer of hope when Bryce (Sudeikis) returns from the afterlife and decides he wants to continue butt-kicking in Tokyo, New York, and possibly other cities. The first season of the program does a great job of setting up the characters, defining their fundamental goals, and introducing us to the duo’s allies and adversaries.
Where do Hit-Monkey and Bryce go from here? Who can say? Cobalt Man, Dracula, the members of the Circus of Crime, Madcap, Nuke, Princess Python, Radioactive Man, Ringmaster, Shiklah, and Taskmaster are just some of the canon opponents the ape assassin could face off against.
And, hey, we could use a cameo from Deadpool/Ryan Reynolds: Hit-Monkey and Wade Wilson are friendly rivals because they have never agreed on anything, but they respect each other’s abilities. Deadpool (19–21) and Deadpool & the Mercs for Money #5 both featured stories involving Hit-Monkey.
