Unquestionably, the original webcomic is quite popular, and it also has some historical value. It may not be as popular as other similar titles, but it is still a notable title that attracts a large number of readers interested in its very specific plot. This must be added to the success of the anime.

Everything we know about the show’s popularity indicates that it will return at some point, and we honestly believe that The God of High School is a strong candidate for renewal. There is still sufficient unadapted material for the show to adapt, and its success justifies at least two additional seasons.

Considering all of this, The God of High School’s future appears very bright. The popularity of both the webcomic and the anime series indicates that renewal is highly probable in the near future. Based on our knowledge of the industry, the second season may premiere in 2023, though we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.

Season 2 of The God of High School Trailer

You are now aware of all the information and our opinions regarding The God of High School season 2, so you have likely deduced that there is no trailer for the second season of The God of High School. Because we do not know if there will be a second season of the show, it is possible that a trailer will not be released.

As previously stated, The God of High School is a strong candidate for a comeback. Before making an accurate prediction, we must determine whether there are actual plans for a continuation of the webtoon series. There is still a great deal of material available for adaptation, and the anime was quite popular when it originally aired in 2020.

Considering everything we’ve said, it’s unlikely that a trailer for The God of High School will be released this year (a proper one, at least, a teaser or PV trailer might appear this year, though). Early 2023 is the earliest we could see a trailer, but we would need confirmation of a second season in 2022 for that to occur.

What is the Plot of the God of High School Season 2?

We do not currently know which portions of the webtoon series will be adapted in Season 2. Specifically, the webtoon series has a distinct structure compared to the traditional manga, making it extremely difficult to ascertain these facts. This is why we do not know what the potential second season of the show will contain. The only certainty is that the show’s protagonists will continue their adventures. The following is a summary of the show’s plot.

The God of High School (GOH) is a global tournament of martial arts in which high school wrestlers of any fighting style are invited directly by the competition organization to compete. Whoever wins the tournament will have any desire granted. Mori Jin, a 17-year-old Seoulite, is invited to the tournament after proving his strength against Judge R, a member of the tournament’s organization.

He then decides to compete so that he can measure himself against the strongest South Korean fighters. Mori is a master of Renewed Taekwondo, a fictional form of taekwondo. On an opening day, while pursuing a thief on the way to the tournament arena, he meets Mira Yoo, the latest heir to the Moonlight Sword Style (“Wolgwang”), and Daewi Han, an expert in Karate Full Contact (“Karate Kyokushin”), two tournament competitors.

Go Gamdo, an honorable Tai Chi fighter; Ma Miseon, a handsome wrestler. Jahee Byeong, a capoeira practitioner; Baek Seughchul, a genius armed with a metal club; and Gang Manseok, a ruthless ITF taekwondo practitioner, will compete in the tournament. Jin, Participate in the qualification tournament and, over time, demonstrate extraordinary physical abilities that leave the judges speechless.

Jin is in fact the grandson of Jin Taejin, a ruthless warrior who once challenged all “The Six,” the world’s strongest humans (one of which is Park Mujing, the founder of the GOH). In the tournament’s final, he challenges Han, who competes in an effort to save a terminally ill old friend who tragically dies. Jin is the victor, and a friendship develops between him and the runner-up, Mira.

Oh Seukjin, a wealthy businessman, proposes marriage to Mira, who accepts in order to improve her family’s circumstances. The man reveals, however, that he is actually after his sword (a “National Treasure”). Mori and Han discover his true nature by revealing it to Mira. Seukjin reveals his own power, “Borrowed Power,” but Mira is able to defeat him with her bare hands.

However, Seukjin manages to escape. Mubong informs Mori that Jin Taejin has been defeated and captured by a mysterious organization known as NOX.

He, Han, and Mira enter the national tournament as the “capital team” and assert themselves in various clashes against holders of “Borrowed Powers” and also against members of NOX, who have infiltrated the participants; one of them, Fei Long, lures Jin away from the tournament (posing as his grandfather thanks to his “Doppelganger” Borrowed Power) but is defeated. Jin is defeated in the tournament by Park ilPyo.

Is Jin Mori a Divine Being?

In the last episode of God of High School, Park Mujin proved that Jin Mori is not a power borrower and is, in fact, God. Daewi’s act of kindness to protect Mori and Mira brought out his true form, which had been threatening to come out since episode 11.
