Glamorous Season 2 Release Date: The fact that TV great Kim Cattrall is in the new comedy-drama show on Netflix has already won over a lot of fans. It seems that love for Sex and the City still goes a long way.
In Glamorous, Cattrall plays Madolyn Addison, the boss of a beauty company. Madolyn hires Miss Benny, an up-and-coming beauty influencer, to be her assistant in a Netflix show that fans are calling one of the best of the year.
The Netflix show is about a story in the beauty business, but it is also about Marco’s journey with their gender identity. This is similar to what actor Benny went through as a transgender woman.
With mixed reviews, it’s safe to say that critics aren’t jumping to call this the best TV show of the past few months. But there is a lot of talk about it on social media. But will that be enough for Glamorous to come back for a second season? Let’s look at what we already know. Below are some hints about the first season, so be careful.
Is Glamorous Getting a Second Season?
Glamorous debuted on Netflix on June 22, and as of that date, the show had not been renewed or dropped. The streaming site usually keeps track of how many people watched the show and how many finished it in the first few months after it came out. But Netflix has been making renewal announcements faster than ever, which could be a good sign for Glamorous.
If Netflix doesn’t renew Glamorous for a second season, the storylines were wrapped up well enough in the season finale that fans won’t be left with a big cliffhanger. The series could end on a happy note with enough closure, or it could come back for a second season to continue sharing the story of Marco’s journey.
Glamorous Season 2 Release Date
Netflix hasn’t said anything about a second season of Glamorous yet, but they tend to move quickly, so we should hear something soon.
Glamorous could go in many different directions with its story if it comes back to one of the best streaming services. In the last episode of the first season, we got a hint about who Madolyn’s son Chad’s (Zane Phillips) real father is. We also saw Marco go to treatment for gender identity.
If there was a second season, we would definitely expect Cattrall, Benny, and Phillips to come back to finish some of the storylines from the first season. Jade Payton is also expected to come back as Venetia. At the end of the first season, Madolyn brought Venetia back into the company, even though she had leaked trade secrets.
Glamorous Season 2 Cast
Nothing bad happened to any of the cast members, so if season 2 gets the go-ahead, we can expect to see most of the same people back. In the last episode of season 1, Julia, Marco’s mom, played by Diana-Maria Riva, left for her new job. She may come back in a smaller role, though.

What Might Happen in Glamorous Season 2?
Well, we’d expect season 2 to pick up where season 1 left off. In the season 1 ending, Marco had to deal with an army of Miss Waverley’s loyal fans. After he said something about her in a live stream video and thousands of fans went after him. In the end, everything was fine because she sent him a note of comfort after he posted an apology video online.
Also, Venetia goes back to Glamorous. She has a new job as a creative executive, and she and Britt have moved in together. Marco’s love life was a big part of season 1, and after breaking up with Parker and seeming to make up with co-worker Ben, we’re sure the on-and-off relationship between Marco and Ben will be explored more in a possible season 2.
In the season 1 finale, Venetia finds a business card for Callen-Lorde, a New York health center for LGBTQ+ people. This shows part of why Marco has been having a hard time lately. We hear Marco say, “I’m finally ready to know myself” at the same time that Venetia turns over the card and sees that it’s for a transgender expert named Dr. Ripley Thomas.
During the flashback of Marco’s mother moving, Julia hugs Marco and tells him, “You’re the best daughter a mother could have.” So, if season 2 does happen, it’s likely that we’ll see Marco’s important journey of finding himself and being okay with himself.
Kim Cattrall is set to star in Netflix’s comedy-drama show, Glamorous, which follows Madolyn Addison, the boss of a beauty company, and her assistant Miss Benny. The show is a story about Marco’s journey with his gender identity, similar to Benny’s experiences as a transgender woman.
Although the show has not been renewed or dropped, Netflix has been making renewal announcements faster than ever, which could be a good sign for Glamorous. If the show is renewed, it could end on a happy note with enough closure or continue sharing Marco’s journey.
