The film was then updated in the 1990s with Emmy Award-winning comedian Steve Martin and Academy Award-winning actress Diane Keaton. The Story Of Father Of The Bride 2022

Father Of The Bride 2 Cast

The original Father of the Bride film followed a father who was attempting to deal with all of the preparations that go into making sure his daughter had a beautiful wedding day. Not only did he have to deal with wedding bills and last-minute planning concerns, but he also had to turn on the charm to get to know his future in-laws. Although this father found all of these things distressing, it came out that the root of his problem was that he wasn’t ready to let go of his young girl turned adult woman.

The 2022 version expands on this plot by setting it in the backdrop of a huge Cuban-American family. It will also be intriguing to observe how the intricacies of today’s society (such as social media, technology, and pop culture) further distinguish this remake from the previous films.
