Daisy Jones & The Six’s first season has ended after ten thrilling episodes. The Amazon Prime Video series, which covers the growth and fall of a rock band in the 1970s, is supposed to be an emotional rollercoaster.
The show is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 popular novel of the same name. Viewers who have watched all of the episodes are wondering if the show will return for another season. Continue reading to discover.
Will Daisy Jones & The Six Return with Season 2?
The show’s renewal for a second season has yet to be announced by Amazon. Furthermore, Daisy Jones & The Six was billed as a limited series, and the novel’s plot was totally incorporated into the first season. But, showrunners Scott Neustadter and Will Graham have hinted at a second season.
“I think that would be great,” Neustadter remarked of the show’s future. If people are interested in this tale and these folks, we might be able to do it. Keep the door ajar. So why not? It’s not a bad thing if people like what you’re doing and want more of it.”
Graham also stated, “We had the most amazing time making the show. For me, that question goes back to [author] Taylor [Jenkins Reid] and if she has another chapter for these characters in her head. If we got an opportunity to do it, I think, no question, everyone involved in the show would show up with bells on.”
The series began production in September 2021 and will be released in March 2023. If the current trend continues, and the renewal is announced in the next weeks, Daisy Jones & The Six will be canceled by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.
What to Expect from Daisy Jones & The Six Season 2?
The cast of the program has revealed their thoughts on what the next season could be about if it is greenlit. “I actually already offered my version of series 2,” Sam Claflin, who plays Billy Dunne, said of a possible season 2. “I still have the impression that there is a lot more to come.”
“But, it is not for us to say. “Maybe Taylor Jenkins should write another novel,” he said. “We perform the 1980s European tour,” Sebastian Chacon remarked, to which Josh Whitehouse joked that viewers would see “Eddie during his punk phase.“
“What we sought to accomplish is create a moment where you can feel how Daisy and Billy could be together,” showrunner Graham added. They are now aware enough to recognize that that is not the best path for them at that time.”
Who will Join Season 2?
Since some of the characters died in the first season, not everyone would be back for the second season. But Riley Keough, who plays Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin, who plays Billy Dunne, Will Harrison, who plays Graham Dunne, and Suki Waterhouse, who plays Karen Sirko, is almost certain to play their roles again.
Josh Whitehouse will play Eddie Roundtree, Sebastian Chacon will play Warren Rojas, Seychelle Gabriel will play Julia, Nabiyah Be will play Simone Jackson, and Timothy Olyphant will play Rod Reyes.
On Prime Video, you can now watch all episodes of Daisy Jones & The Six. Keep an eye out for more news and changes.
