CSI Vegas Season 2 (2)

According to Variety, the network’s departure from the show’s upcoming second season (slated to premiere in January 2022) is official. Fox posted an emotional letter to the CSI fanbase explaining her departure.

“Hello, #CSI devotees! A lot of consideration led me to the conclusion that I shouldn’t “Sidle Up” for CSI: Vegas. CSI has always felt to me like a romantic drama. The characters in the story discover love despite their difficult circumstances.

Further, the narrative demonstrates that love can blossom and take hold even amid the darkest of times and most difficult of environments. Grissom and Sara should never be separated again, in my opinion. With that, Grissom is outta here. And so it goes with Sara. They are always a unit, no matter where they are.

Her final words in the address were, “Thanks to everyone who watched!!!! You should keep watching! I have no doubts about that. A fantastic cast and production staff bode well for CSI: Vegas.

It’s confirmed that the following actors and actresses will be returning:

Maxie Roby, played by Paula Newsome
Allie Rajan, played by Mandeep Dhillon
Starring Matt Lauria as Josh Folsom
Hugo Ramirez, played by Mel Rodriguez

CSI: Las Vegas now has its own staff of medical examiners. CBS’s sequel to the groundbreaking 2000 series will have recurring parts for Sara Amini (Future Man) and Joel Johnstone (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Sonya, the head Medical Examiner, is played by Amini, who returns in the role.

CSI Vegas Season 2

Jack, Sonya’s older brother, and the assistant Medical Examiner will be played by Johnstone. Jack is smart, curious, and optimistic. Cast members Ariana Guerra (Helstrom) and Lex Medlin (Drop Dead Diva) will join the main cast. Guest star from season one, CSI Chris Park, Jay Lee, will be a series regular in season two of CSI: Vegas.

Marg Helgenberger is returning to the CSI television programme. According to reports, Helgenberger signed a one-year contract to appear frequently on the program. She portrayed Catherine Willows in CSI’s inaugural season. In CSI: Vegas Season 2, she will return to the role of Catherine Willows. Mel Rodriguez won’t be a regular on the show after Season 2. He is the most recent celebrity to announce his departure after Jorja Fox and William Petersen.

Produced by CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television, CSI: Vegas is distributed internationally by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. The show’s executive producers are Jason Tracey, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, KristieAnne Reed, Anthony Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue, Craig O’Neill, William Petersen, Uta Briesewitz (only for the premiere episode), and Cindy Chvatal.

The neon-lit streets of Season 2 About Sin City are now concealing a new threat, and it will require some recognizable faces to face it. William Petersen and Jorja Fox portray the roles that made them well-known in CSI: Vegas. The criminal drama that made CBS famous is also back. If they band together, can they prevent the bad guy from taking down the entire CSI crime lab? In CSI: Vegas, long-lost allies make new enemies and discover the most recent forensic methods.

Given that Petersen and Fox won’t be reprising their roles as Grissom and Sidle, the second season of the program likely needs to take a fresh turn for a new period without its two most important characters.
