All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Release Date Updates: All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean zombie apocalypse horror streaming television series created by Chun Sung-il, Lee Jae-kyoo, and Kim Nam-Su. The Netflix series, based on Joo Dong-Naver Geun’s webtoon Now at Our School, premiered on January 28, 2022.

Following the release of Season 1, the series was watched for over 362.64 million hours on the service in its first 30 days. The series was renewed for a second season on June 6, 2022.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Release Date

On Rotten Tomatoes, All of Us Are Dead currently has an 83% approval rating. Though no release date has been announced by Netflix, the season two announcement was made on June 6.

Although official confirmation is awaited, the new season may consist of 12 episodes, similar to the first season. Film Monster and Kim Jong-Hak Production are in charge of the series production.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Cast and Plot

Almost everyone died at the end of All of Us Are Dead. Following the initial outbreak, the city of Hyosan was quickly overrun by the zombie menace, and the majority of the undead were then destroyed by bombing by the Korean military.

While the majority of the survivors had completed their stories, the outbreak could still resurface. All it would take is one zombie to completely devastate everything.

Nam-Ra, on the other hand, managed to retain her humanity even after the infection ravaged her body. She turns out to be one of many hybrids who can use the virus to their advantage, becoming extra strong and pain-resistant.

The problem is that the hunger for human flesh persists, so new episodes may face this threat as well. Nam-Ra ends up with her friends rather than the hybrids at the end of Joo Dong-original Geun’s webtoon, which is very different from the show’s current trajectory.

However, there is a tease that suggests the virus has now spread to Japan, which could be explored in season two, whether the show just hints at it or moves the entire story overseas. However, given that All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean production, the latter option appears unlikely.

The cast now includes Park Ji-Hu as Nam Onjo and Park Solomon as Lee Suhyeok. Since Season 2 has been approved, we can assume that all of the survivors will return.

The Season 2 announcement does state that Park Jihu, Yoon Chan Young, Cho Yihyun, and Lomon will be “back to school,” so we can officially say that Cheongsan is not over.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Renewed or Cancelled?

Netflix announced on June 6, 2022, that the hit shows All of Us Are Dead season 2 will return to the streaming platform. The renewal of a popular TV show was announced on the first day of Netflix Geeked Week. Many fans were undoubtedly concerned and skeptical about this new development.

The reason for this is that the original WEBTOON did not grant rights to the second season, so the content would have to be created from scratch.

Not only that, but because the main concept of this series, which is high school students abandoning their high school during a zombie outbreak, has already been completed in the first season, a second season is unlikely.
