Mumbai Indians has bought Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, for Rs. 30 lakh for the 2022 IPL season.

Arjun, who had been MI’s net bowler for a few years, has also travelled to the UAE in the same capacity for the IPL 2020. MI awarded him a contract in 2021. After MI opted to bid for him, Arjun joined his father, Sachin, at the franchise. Arjun Tendulkar joined his father Sachin Tendulkar in the IPL 2021 after being purchased for Rs 20 lakhs by Mumbai Indians. Sachin Tendulkar is the franchise’s idol and the former captain of the Mumbai Indians.
