Preity Zinta has apologised to her fans for being unable to attend the mega auctions in Bengaluru, which will take place on February 12 and 13.
The Punjab Kings will begin the Mega Auctions with two retained players – Mayank Agarwal (12 crores) and Arshdeep Singh (4 crores) – and the highest remaining balance in the purse among the ten teams – a total of 72 crores.
Preity revealed the reason for her inability to attend the mega auctions on her social media account. Preity remarked that she will be unable to fly from the United States to India due to the fact that she will be unable to leave her twins. She goes on to say that the last four days have been ‘hectic’ for her and the team because the Punjab Kings, like all other franchisees, have been preoccupied with the crucial auctions.
Preity Zinta has asked her fans for ideas for the forthcoming mega auctions, and she has also apologised to all of her fans for not being able to amuse them at the exciting auction.
Preity Zinta and her husband Gene Goodenough welcomed the twins via surrogacy in November of the previous year.
Preity Zinta has been considered one of the best most engaged and enthusiastic attendees at auction events, and admirers have been able to catch glimpses of Preity as an owner in the past IPL auctions.
The TATA IPL Mega Auctions will begin tomorrow, February 12 and go through Sunday, February 13. With two new teams joining the mega auctions, the two-day event will be interesting to watch.
