The world cup winning captain will be playing for Delhi Capitals franchise after having bid for INR 6. 5 crore.

Mitchell Marsh, a world cup winning player’s crucial knock in the knockout stages of the previous T20 world cup set a benchmark for the Australian all-rounder. Last year, after appearing for Sun Risers Hyderabad in a couple of matches, had pulled himself out from the league after sustaining an injury during the match against RCB. Jason Holder was named as a replacement to Marsh.

The all-rounder has played in 21 matches while scoring 221 runs while bagging 20 wickets under his belt. While batting he has averaged 17.31 and bowling at the economy of 7.9.
