IPL 2022: Adam Zampa goes UNSOLD in first round of mega auction

Australian leg-spinner, Adam Zampa, one of 49 players from Australia, who has been registered at IPL Auction, has gone UNSOLD at base price of INR 2 crore. After he made a debut in the cash-rich league in 2016 for Rising Pune Super Giant. He was later picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2020. He has picked 21 wickets, so far at an average of 17 with an economy rate of 8 in his overall career in IPL.

The leggie will be hoping for an impeccable season after having a marvelous journey in the T20 World cup, being the second most successful bowler in the tournament, picking 13 wickets. With his ability to consistently hit the line and length, he can put the opposition at risk. His endeavor with the franchise will be a massive challenge for the 29-years-old leggie, who is yet to make his impact in the IPL.
