Ranji Trophy: A power-pack game between Kerala and Jharkhand

In the match between Kerala and Gujarat, Kerala won the game by 8 wickets and Kunnummal was awarded the “Player of the Match”.

A single game witnessed so many good performances by individuals which were worth appreciating.

Starting off with the first innings, Het Patel scored a fantastic score 185 runs, falling short of just 15 runs to reach the miracle mark of 200 runs. Karan Patel cams down the order for Gujarat and scored a decent century of 120 runs.

Despite two batsmen scored a brilliant ton, Nidheesh for Kerala, was able to take a five-wicket haul. Basil Thampi assisted Nidheesh in taking 4 wickets.

Vishnu Vinod in the first innings of Kerala, scored a beautiful century, having scored 113 runs before getting out. Siddharth Desai took a brilliant five-fer for Gujarat.

Karan Patel scored 81 runs in the second innings, and proved his classical performance in both the innings. Jalaj Saxena took 4 wickets for Kerala.

Kunnummal stood not out for 106 runs, snatching away the win for team Kerala, and Sachin Baby played a captain’s knock of 62 runs.
