Nicholas Pooran’s gritty 61 takes West Indies to 157

Jeremy Caroll

A steady and accelarating inning from Nicholas Pooran of 61 runs, letting Pollard finish off the team total to a fighting one, only proves how he can turn the day off for any bowler, let alone be having his day.

Indian team have been decent with their bowling but inability of pacers to pick up wickets in the middle will still be a spot of bother. But a fantastic catch by captain Rohit Sharma can wrap the innings for India. However, West Indies have set a decent target but the dew factor would shrink the chances of West Indies team defending the total.
