India and United Kingdom have kickstarted a jointly initiated event, ‘India-UK Week of Sports Celebrations’. The event has been initiated to promote the culture of a “living bridge” between the two nations as India celebrates its 75th year of Independence. The event will be celebrated from 21-27 February, as informed by the UK High Commission. The event will help people from both nations unite with the help of stories on-and off-the-field of sports.
