Lahore Qalandar wins PSL after 7 long years

In a contesting night of final between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandar, the heroics of Mohammad Hafeez, Harry Brook, and David Wiese with the bat has turned the tides in the favor of Lahore Qalandar. While setting a competitive total of 180 runs while losing 5 wickets, Multan Sultans could only reach 138 in reply. Khushdil Shah top-scored for Multan Sultans with 32 runs while the rest of the batters failed against the impressive bowling of Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez.

Hafeez gleamed for the team as he scored crucial 69 runs while bagging two wickets. David Wiese’s quick cameo of 28 runs off 8 balls kept Lahore on top on the night of the final. Harry Brook, who partnered with Wiese, scored 41 runs off 22 balls.
