Saurav Ganguly says “It’s an exceptional achievement,” to Virat Kohli’s milestone of playing 100th Test game

BCCI President Saurav Ganguly shared a video message, featuring himself and congratulating former skipper as Virat will be playing his 100th Test game.

Remarking on his iconic achievement Saurav Ganguly recalls his journey of being in that situation, when he played his 100th Test game.

Saurav Ganguly states that its an exceptional achievement to be where Virat is and to achieve this milestone is a great success for any cricketer.

Virat Kohli on March 4, will be playing his 100th Test game against Sri Lanka, in Mohali, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. Along with BCCI president, many former cricketers and current teammates congratulated Virat for his tremendous journey of 100 Test games.

“It’s a huge landmark in Indian cricket, playing 100 Test matches is something that you dream of when you start playing cricket for your country. It’s a great moment for Virat, it’s momentous for Indian cricket,” Ganguly says.

“I have personally been in that 100 Test match situation and I realise how momentous and how humongous the occasion can be,” said BCCI president Ganguly.
